JUICE IT - SMOOTHIE PONG
A simple and fun project in individual work given by Isart Digital over a period of ten days, Juice It asked us to take a retro game, and make it more Juicy, that is to say to give it audio feedback and visuals more entail.
In my case, I couldn't resist playing on a word game and giving the game a fruit juice theme, which will lead into the Smoothie Pong game. This was possible thanks tosplatoon ink system for Unity created by youtuber Mix And Jam.
Concept Development
The game as seen upon release is more or less exactly the original concept. The idea was immediately to play on the pun of fruit juices.
Used tools
This game was created exclusively withUnity Bolt, and will particularly focus on physics, rebounds and momentum.

Encountered difficulties
The original difficulty of this project was the creation of the juice stain system. The youtuber Mix And Jam in particular allowed me to create the system that we see in the game, however it took me a lot of time, testing in Unity and reading the code to succeed in taking it into account. hand the code.

What I learned
For theHard Skills, the knowledge learned by working on this project was less about handling Unity Bolt, which was well solidified byMechanic Memories, and more on working techniques. I also learned to develop my creation of simple UI.
For theSoft Skills, this project allowed me to develop habits in game design, especially in the use of visuals, sounds and particles to make games more Juicy. I was also able to learn how to adapt to lack of resources, such as in the creation of my UI, and to adapt to the work of others, which will be useful to me in group work.
